Our sovereignty statement
Everything about this platform is European by design: a .eu domain,
hosting inside the European Union, DNS managed at Scaleway in France, and a static
site that never ships your data to a US cloud. There is no account to hijack, no
profile to sell and no analytics pipeline to breach — nothing is stored beyond a
theme preference in your browser, and audio is processed by the Web Audio API on
your own device. That data-minimising architecture is the whole GDPR strategy:
nothing collected, nothing retained, nothing transferred.
The same philosophy shapes the sound. The adaptive chain descends from the European mastering tradition — a dynamic expander inspired by the German SPL Vitalizer, a harmonic exciter inspired by the Swiss Weiss Exciter, and an optional tube stage modelled on the SPL Tube Vitalizer. Why sovereignty matters for a venue
A background-music subscription is a contract with a foreign provider, a data stream about your premises, and a licensing layer you cannot inspect. A static European site is different: you can read the source, verify the licences, and see that the audio never leaves your device. When the recipe for a fine is "you played music you could not prove was licensed", inspectable technology is not a luxury — it is risk management.
What sovereignty does not mean
It does not mean we are a collecting society, that we sell licences, or that playing royalty-free music is automatically lawful in every European jurisdiction. We are a sovereign, transparent tool; the legal responsibility for your venue's playback remains yours. Verify with your local society or adviser.
